Turkish 98 8mm caliber rifle. Originally produced by Mauser Werke Oberndorf for Turkey as the model 1903. Refurbished by Turkey in 1938. Non matching numbers. The bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Very good wood. Good overall condition. This would be an excellent action to build a custom sporter.
