Description:
Excellent condition 1903-A1 made in 1929, serial number 1262xxx, with "C" modified stock and no cocking knob. Stock is un-marked, with deep cut checkered butt plate, and is a near flawless black walnut example. The bore of this rifle is perfect, the action rails are bright and the bolt sleeve is correctly serial numbered. This gun falls into that narrow window in 1929 when the stock had just changed to pistol grip, but the striker was still without a cocking knob. There is still only one gas port on the right side of the receiver. Overall condition is approximately 95%, or N.R.A. Excellent. PRICE: $2,950 2% discount for cash or check payment.
