Description:
After 50 years of collecting and enjoying Winchester lever actions it is time to sell them. This Model 1895 Deluxe - Take-down rifle in Caliber 30 Gov't O6 is in great shape. It has beautiful burl grained wood and the checkering is sharp. Bore and action are excellent. Most all of the blue remains on the Barrel and a bit on the action. There is a repaired crack at the wrist of the buttstock which has been solidly repaired, it is also fitted with a correct, for the period, recoil pad. This is a Factory Special order Deluxe rifle with the take-down feature. It was made in a caliber you could hunt with today if your were so inclined.. We think that Teddy Roosevelt may have owned one like this in addition to his .405 caliber l895. We will gladly listen to any and all cash or trade offers on this great Winchester as -- it does need a new home.
