WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 OCTAGON .32 W.C.F. CAL. RIFLE CIRCA 1891. Nice and all original example with 24” octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Original Winchester “Elevator” rear sight and nickel blade front. Very sharp markings with perfect “WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS NEW HAVEN, CONN” barrel address. “KING’S IMPROVEMENT PATENTED/MARCH 29, 1866 OCTOBER 16, 1860” patent dates. Tang marked “MODEL 1873”. Barrel breech stamped “.32 W.C.F.” (.32-20). Very good overall with the original dark patina mixed with minor amounts of blue nicely mixed in. Factory original stock and forend with the original finish. Working order and very good bore with frosting but having well defined lands and grooves. Reasonably priced Model 1873 with desirable octagon barrel.
