Colt 1860 Army. Made in 1863. The metal has a gray patina with scattered pitting. Grips are oversized replacements for someone who had a big hand. Action still works and gun locks up. These guns were the workhorse of the Civil War, and by the looks of this one, it almost surely saw action!
