Description:
A very good early Colt 1851 navy, SN 47xxx all matching(1856). Gun retains about 90% cylinder scene, including part of date of engagement. There is basically about 40% original blue and traces of case colors. All markings are crisp and edges sharp. Mechanically tight and indexes perfectly. Grips are lightly worn, but no dings. A really nice navy at a resonable price. Early enough that it was almost certainly used in the Civil War, perhaps by the south.
