Description:
Serial #510316, .32 S&W Long, 3 1/4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. The metal surfaces on this pre-war, five-screw revolver retain 90-95% of the original blue with some mild fading and silvering on the high edges as well as an area of plum-brown freckling on the right side of the frame. There are some scattered specks of mild freckling, a light turn-ring is present on the cylinder, and the trigger and hammer exhibit excellent original color case-hardening. The diamond-center, checkered walnut grips have the “Pat. June 5, 1917” stamp on the butt and rate fine-excellent overall with some minor handling marks and some very light flattening of the points. Additionally, the pencil numbering on the interior has been altered to match the gun, but the revolver does have matching numbers on the barrel, cylinder, yoke, and extractor. This is a very nice little pre-war S&W that would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
