Description:
S# 45, 32 Caliber Percussion, 5 inch barrels, very good smooth bores. This six shot pepperbox is marked Allen's Patent & Co Worcester on barrel cluster. This marking was used from around 1854 to 1856. Features include lovely ivory grips, fluted cylinder and light engraving. The ivory grips show yellowing and grain cracks and are both stamped "45" inside. Frame is numbered "45" on gripstrap and mainspring also is stamped "45". Pistol works well and is all original. This comes with a very old and worn pocket holster. Antique.
