Description:
S# 124924, 22 LR, 28 inch barrel, bright excellent bore. This rifle was built between 1913 and 1923 and remains in excellent condition with well over 90% blue showing scratches on receiver, wear on lever and a few dings in barrel. The Lyman No 53 receiver mounted peep is fading brown with 60% blue remaining. Wood shows typical scattered dings and dents with a repaired hole in bottom of forend 3 1/2 inches from the receiver. Forend also shows a small repair on left side below finger groove. Wood had a little extra oil wiped on long ago. The Unertl style scope blocks are mounted in added holes in barrel top. FFL or C+R.
