Description:
S# 4011, 38 S&W, 5 inch barrel, bright excellent bore. This third model revolver was built from 1909 to 1941. This is the coil spring model built for smokeless powder ammo. It remains in very good condition with about 70% blue showing honest wear and scattered oxidation stains. Hammer and trigger still show 50% case colors on sides. Barrel markings remain crisp and screw slots are not damaged. The special order wood grips fit well, show light marks and have some green paint spatters on left side. This revolver is double action only, action works well, cylinder locks up tight. FFL or C&R.
