Description:
Remington Navy 1858 1862 Factory Conversion to 38 CF cartridge (38 Colt). Great example unusual to find with original ejector rod. Proper numbering under barrel. Sharp edges, unlike most examples this one still has sharp lettering and nice unbuggered screws. Great clean bore with shine. Excellent cylinder stops with bright, clean cylinders. Has original Remington pinched front sight which most examples don't have. Some blue but mostly gray. Bought to shoot in cowboy action but never got around to it. Should make a good shooter. Just a great unmessed with Navy converted to fire current black powder ammo around 1875. Have checked by a competent gunsmith before using. Ask questions first. Antique so no FFL required and can ship direct to you. Just a copy of drivers license for proof of age. Will ship to CA.
