- Note: For High Standard collectors, this gun is a must for your collection. The High Standard Mfg. Co. entered the firearms manufacturing business when they acquired the assets of the Hartford Arms and Equipment Co. in Hartford, Connecticut. This is gun number 410 of roughly 5000 pistols that the company manufactured before going bankrupt in 1932. Obvious resemblances exist between the Colt and High Standard pistols of this era. This particular firearm retains no finish except the two-tone magazine which was probably replaced at some point.
- Condition: gun appears mechanically sound, although we are selling it "as-is" and make no claims as to its soundness mechanically. We are selling it as a collector's piece.
