Rare Hopkins and Allen XL 8 44 Army..Ultra rare 44 Henry Rimfier caliber, 6" barrel, S/N 15X. Blue finish to all metal parts. Serial number on underside of barrel and on ejector rod. Top flat of frame marked Hopkins & Allen M'F'G Co. Pat Mch 28. 71 May 27. 73, and XL No. 8. Hard rubber checkered grips. Good action bore. Markings are sharp. Very hard to find gun.
