Very seldom seen in half stock configuration, numbers on inside of trigger guard and on stock would suggest museum ownership (deaccession?), period of use-1790's thru ??? Smooth bore is dark with black powder oxidation, barrel is patina'd gray brown, stock fore arm has slivers missing worn smooth with use, righ side of stock has tack shanks, rectangle of wood replaced.
