Description:
A wonderful old Remington - Whitmore 10 Gauge Hammer Gun with 30 inch STEEL BARRELS, plain extractors, etc. I think this is the earliest fluid steel shotgun we have ever seen. Serial No Range 190x with good shootable 2&3/4 inch chambers and bores. Entire shotgun is in very good condition, with an early repair at the wrist which was very well done and hardly noticeable.  Tip of forearm which I think was ebony is missing.  I'm told that only a few thousand of these were manufactured - has a very unique top lever system which operates by lifting instead of pushing to the side. Actually a very rare shotgun with nice patina on the metal - totally original, etc. etc. An antique so no ffl required.
