30" SxS barrels of Cromox Fluid Steel with slightly raised, concave, matted rib and twin white beads, choked modified & improved modified. 15 1/2" pull from front trigger to engraved skeleton buttplate, checkered within. 1 3/8" - 2 7/8" drop. 3/8" cast-off. Highly figured Turkish walnut stock with horn-inlaid, Deeley-release, schnabel, splinter forend, straight English grip, checkered sidepanels and fancy-bordered, borderless checkering. Fully engraved, scalloped, casehardened, small-frame receiver with gold-plated triggers, automatic ejectors, automatic top tang safety and SAFE inlaid in gold, 2 pheasants on the left, two grouse on the right, a fox and a pheasant on the underside and a gold grouse on the triggerguard bow. Maker's name in gold on both sides of the receiver, serial number in gold on trigger tang, Made to Order A. H. Fox and Cromox Fluid Steel in gold on the barrels. Model and serial number in gold, enhanced with scroll engraving on both action watertable and inside forend iron. Weight: 6lbs, 4oz. Built in 2006 by Connecticut Shotgun Mfg Co. Virtually new condition. In maker's oak and leather trunk case with brass corners, trade label, and leather-trimmed canvas overcase.
