Very good condition French model 1936 MAS, in 7.5X54MM cal, with clean wood, some minor dings, and handling marks, but nothing serious, with a 22" barrel, and an rifled bore with good rifling, and roughness from corrosive wartime ammo, and a ring about 5" from the muzzle that won't affect shooting.This WWII model has a mounted sling swivels,and a leather sling, adjustable rear sight, and a hooded front sight.Bolt is numbered 5636 and the receiver is numbered:90001. Finish is smooth grey wear with a couple small patches 0f roughness. Overall an example of a WWII Allied rifle..This caliber is as powerful and accurate as the .308!
