Description:
A good civil War sword with much battle field use, as the makers name is about worn off from drawing the sword so many rimes from it's scabbard. I can only read the inspectors marks of: S from US and a small HC. the 34 1/2" blade is a dull pewter color and the scabbard has surface oxidation and discoloration as well a service dents. The leather covered wooden grips has about 70% leather and complete wire wrap. Overall an honest estate found Civil War sword that had seen much action! We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in. If you can only pay with a card let me know.
