Description:
Serial #7705 (Conversion #1335), .38 RF, 3 1/2” octagon barrel with a good, darkly freckled bore. This is a nice little Remington conversion that has matching conversion numbers on the two-piece cylinder and matching assembly numbers on the cylinder and barrel. The metal retains 75-80% of the original nickel finish that has flaked in some spots and also exhibits spots of dark freckling, heaviest around the exterior of the cylinder and on the gripstraps which have visible dark underlying metal. The walnut grips are in fine condition with scattered minor handling marks and light blemishes, and the lock-up is still tight with good timing and an fully functional action. This is a very good plus, small frame Remington cartridge conversion and would make a great addition to any collection. Antique
