Nicely reblued and the price reflects it. very scarce S&W Pre-War 38/44 Outdoorsman. Designed for heavy loaded 38 Specials that predate the 357 Magnum. Lock-up and timing right on. Bore is excellent, no darkness or pitting at all. Original grips that are valuable in the own right. Not many pre-war outdoorsman Revolvers were made and few survive. Not to be confused with the S&W 38/44 Heavy Duty that did not have adjustable sights. $799 plus $30 shipping to C&R or FFL. Lay-a-way available, no credit cards and no trades. Fairly cheap price for a piece of history.
