* * * SOLD ON HOLD PENDING FUNDS / Japanese Type 14 (STG) Nambu semi-auto Pistol, serial #23190, cal. 8mm Nambu, has a 4 1/2” barrel with a very good bright and strong bore, pistol dated 7.1 (Jan. 32), The metal surfaces retain about 90%+ blue fading to a plum patina with scattered fine to light spots of peppery pitting but nothing drastic or alarming. All numbers are matching with exception of the magazine that’s numbered 293, Cocking Knob # 631 and the Firing Pin is unnumbered. The pistol has nice grooved unnumbered hardwood grips that have been neatly modified by adding vertical lines to them, this was probably done by some Japanese officer with nothing better to do other than to die for the emperor. Overall this early pistol as described is in very good condition. Inv.: # 1-1278
