Description:
A truly fine example of the early era of American custom riflemakers. This rifle is one of R.G. Owens' finest pieces, a fully custom Springfield made for VL&D, NY. Barrel marked V.L. & D, NY. Serial #510. Although the engravinbg is not signed it is obviously the work of Rudolpf Kornbrath. The gun is in exquisite condition and was someone's favorite hunting rifle. Caliber: 30-06. The bore is mint and shiny with sharp lands and clean grooves. Scoped with a Leupold express scope in G&H sidemount. The buttplate and pistol grip cap cover hollowed stock and grip.
