* * * SOLD ON HOLD PENDING FUNDS / Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine, manufactured in 1907, serial #390481, cal. 30 W.C.F., 20" barrel with a fair plus bore with rifling but has shallow pitting its length, the barrel and magazine tube retain 90% original blue turning plum, bands are mostly blue with some gray, the receiver shows some original blue, the majority is a gray pewter patina, with some light oxidation and some very minor peppery pinprick pitting, the lever is mostly patina along with the hammer. The walnut butt stock rates good showing a light cleaning and some minor added finish, this gun features a three position rear carbine style sight with the center sight missing its right side. The saddle ring is present, the overall condition as described is good plus. Inv. # 6-308
