Original Springfield model 1879 trapdoor 45/70 carbine with fine bore, and original finish on both stock and metal. Excellent, very shootable, bore. As found, clean, no rust, cracks or mistreatment. Has star serial number suffix, and no changed or replaced parts. This is a correct carbine, with appropriate markings and not a converted rifle.
Please see the photos to determine physical condition. Mechanically perfect, untouched original gun with cleaning tools in butt. No shipping to Calif or NYC, N.J. residents must comply with state law. Shipping wil be $35.00 in the CONUS.
