Early Smith and Wesson pre model 38 Airweight Bodyguard 38 special.Built in late 1955 or early 1956,this gun has the early style flat latch cylinder release.It retains 98%+ of the original blue finish.A light turn line on the cylinder and very slight edge wear in the frame are the only wear showing on the gun.It has the round butt magna style grips which are numbered to the gun.The bore is perfect and the cylinder is tight.Serial number 90xxx.A scarce and collectible Smith and Wesson.C&R eligible.
