US Springfield Model 1870 Cadet Rifle. serial# 884. cal 50-70. Bright shiney bore, barely readable cartouche, finish is mostly grey/brown patina. Excellent wood with no cracks or splits. Comes with a correct US marked 18" bayonet. Very nice early trap-door cadet rifle.
