Description:
An original ( not converted) French Percussion military pistol made by " Manuf-red R -be de L-Etienne" which is legible on the lock. The 7 &1/2 " barrel has a pretty uniform dark tone. The butt cap is brass. It is about .69 caliber.The word "card" is stamped in the left side of the stock near the barrel along with the number "13". The number "78" is stamped on the barrel opposite the hammer. The action is very strong and the hammer holds on full and half cock. The ramrod is in good condition The stock extends to the end of the barrel .The overall condition and appearance are very good.. This pistol has certainly seen some action.
