Features chopper lump barrels, hidden third fastener, and matching serial number on scope. This gun was regulated with the scope. It shows no pitting on the standing breach, and very clean barrel flats. Detachable side locks with 80-85% case color remaining throughout, and frame bolsters. Action shows disc set strikers with setscrews. Barrels are by Holland & Holland, with bores still in mint condition. It has a long top tang and articulated front trigger. This rifle feels brand new in the hand. Barrels are proofed for \"COR. MKI 100-750 MAX\", a much heavier load than is seen on most .577s. It is one of a collection that took the previous owner 35 years to accumulate. Each rifle that is offered from this group is absolutely the best that this collector could locate. Selective upgrading and careful selection were the benchmarks for this collector's acquisitions. Only rifles in high, original condition- most usually free of cracked wood or other blemishes- were satisfactory to the previous owner. This rifle is yet another example of that discerning taste.
