Description:
Very clean original Remington model 1914 in caliber .303 BRITISH.Top of the receiver is marked RE in a circle for Remington, so this is an early gun! A rugged WWI rifle with very straight , clean American walnut wood,best I've seen in a while! The medal is armory faded blue, and mostly arsenal finish .No date on the barrel typical of an export to GB, SN 47480. Has a a bolt, with crossed flags and the bore is clean, with frost in the grooves from using corrosive wartime primers.Stock has rectangle proofs , but can't read them as they are light..Overall a very good example!American walnut wood is very clean with very few dings from field use!Don't see any import markings. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in. If you can only pay with a card let me know.
