SPRINGFIELD trapdoor with a dated breech of 1884, with a 1884 Buffington rear sight, and a cleaning rod/bayonet . Has the front band with the stacking swivels.Has a cartouche of 1891 which is quite clear.! American walnut wood is very good, and the medal is about 100% armory blue , some recent surface oxidation,and most likely been restored, as well as the stock looks like a hand rubbed newer finish also. The action is good, and the bore is good, with rifling vut some roughness in the grooves and one patch of corrosion about 10"down from the muzzle. The stock has a clean newer finish. Would make a good shooter.We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in. If you can only pay with a card let me know.
