Description:
Serial# 272xxx mfg. 1953. Excellent condition Win 70 Super Grade in the scarce 257 Roberts caliber. All correct components including factory swivels, floor plate, Redfield gold bead front sight, etc. Metal is very clean inside and out retaining about 97% Blue other than floor plate which shows somewhat less. Wood is rated at least 96% with no gouges, cracks or scrapes, just some scattered handling marks and light flaking. The 24" barrel is equipped with correct factory sights and has a great bore. Overall, a very fine rifle in a difficult to find caliber.
