SPRINGFIELD ARMORY model 1873 rifle with a crisp clean shiny bore, and some c]recent corrosion nearer the muzzle. This rifle has a cartoucheof 1884 on the stock. This full length rifle is in good condition with a ram-rod, and lfield use dings, and has been in the same Massachusetts family for over 100 years, most likely went to Cuba with the Mass Militia. Medal appears to be the original blue fading on the barrel, but turning to patina. Correct rear early sight. Overall would make a good shooting gun, and comes with an 1973 U.S. marked bayonet, and the front band has the stacking swivel.Rear sight of 1873 is marked with an R.We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check.
