JAPANESE TYPE 32 ARMY NCO SWORD AND SCABBARD CIRCA 1899-1920’S. 37” o/a with 30” blade with 15,xxx range serial number on the ricasso. Blued steel scabbard which has no serial number. Standard wood grip. Excellent plus condition with the blade having the original polish and the steel guard with much original blue. Grip excellent. Scabbard has original blue mixed with patina and some minor spots of rust near the drag. Particularly nice example for one of these with the original blue and having a very fine blade. Usually found much worn and with metal repainted black.
