EARLY SIGNED JAPANESE KATANA IN SHIRASAYA. Circa 1600’s or earlier. 25 ½” blade with 6” tang (two holes) with old encrusted patina and semi-legible signature. Blade with early Bizen style curve from the tang. Blade in fine condition with well defined temper line. Faint signature of what appears to be four characters with three faintly visible.
