NEAR MINT WW2 INLAND DIV. GENERAL MOTORS M1 OR M-1 .30 CAL. CARBINE DATED 12-44. Barrel stamped behind front sight “INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/12-44”. Little used and all original with 99% of the dark green parkerized finish. Matching stock and 4 rivet hand guard with all the original arsenal oil finish. Regimental rack number painted on pistol grip butt (N/182). Stock inspected on the left side “STD/PROD/RWH” and “LW” in the sling well. Original circa 1944 rear sight and bayonet lug. Original magazine. An original “bring back” from an old collection with no import marks. Date on barrel coincides with the Battle of the Bulge.
