FIRST AFGHAN WAR ERA SMALL SIZE PERCUSSION BLUNDERBUSS CIRCA 1840’S. Only 25” o/a with 11” barrel with 1 ½” bell at the muzzle and with very fine Islamic floral motifs and a maker’s cartouche 2 “ from the breech. Hand made lock and hammer of Enfield type but handmade as well. Full length stock with old steel butt plate. Hand made sling swivels. Lock in working order. Very colorful and original from the early years of the British experience in Afghanistan.
