Description:
A sturdy field grade 12ga. double, this Winchester model 24 with 30" barrels, chambered for the 2 3/4" shell, and very clean bores. The chokes are MOD and FULL. Action locks up tight, and the exterior metal is mostly brown patina,some spotty frost from long term storage, but not rusted.This is more of a field gun than a collector gun. The American walnut wood is good and has some age discoloration and added finish but looks solid, and the LOP is 14 3/8" with a factory fitted black rubber Winchester butt-plate. This hammer-less double shotgun has a rounded action and not many U.S. gun makers made a rounded action. SN31959, and made in 1942. not a fancy gun but built to last many years!
