Description:
Pedersoli .75 cal Officers Fuscil Brown Bess. Beautifully crafted British arm of the American Revolutionary War. This arm has a real nice figured stock of European Walnut. The hardware is tightly fitted and finished. The lock is marked GRICE 1762. The action makes enough sparks to start a campfire! A simple rear brass sight has been soft soldered to the rear of the barrel. A blade front sight puts a tightly patched .735 ball in a 3" bull at 50 yards! A brass lug has been soft soldered to the entry thimble and a sling loop attached that makes carrying the gun very comfortable in the woods for the primitive deer hunting season. Great gun if you are a Revolutionary War buff, collector that can't shell out $10 K for an original piece, or primitive weapons hunter. Overall condition: excellent!
