Description:
This is a reproduction of the Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver. It is a blued/case colored single action .31 caliber, cap and ball, black powder gun. The open top frame allows for a good view of the stagecoach scene on the cylinder. Just like the original, the cylinder is marked, "COLTS PATENT" over the part of the serial number. Below the cylinder on the left side of the frame it is marked, "COLTS PATENT". The top of the barrel reads, "ADDRESS SAML COLT" over, "NEW YORK CITY". The plated backstrap features Samuel Colt's signature.
