You are looking at the best of the very best handmade Bowies knives made by Master Craftsman Harold Corby with grade " A " ivory handles from Bostwana Reserve in Africa with absolutely no checks or cracks, perfect in color,appearance, texture,grain and visual efect. These are exact reroduction of the " Yenzer " Bowies seen in The Gun Digest Book of Knives, 1973 and Modern Handmade Knives, 1982 without engraving. The two knives were commissioned by myself as an unique, one-of-a-kind set that will never be reproduced ( knives were made in April 2013-the last knives ever made by now retired masker ). These two knives represent the very best there is out there when it come to handmade knives. One Bowie has a fancy file work on top of the knife's spine or back as seen in the book with a large German silver double guard, and matching German silver butt cap; with finger grips handle style, the other Bowie has a large combination of brass and turbine aluminum aircraft double guard with matching brass butt cap. One is the " Old " type as Harold pointed out, the other the " New " type " . Both knives come with a hand-crafted hand-tooled basket weave leather scabbard by Corby. This is an astonishing set. It will be better to purchase it as such, for those who only wish to buy one knife, price for each knife will be $550.00 more per knife as opposed to half of the price for the set; since the set will be broken .
