Shotgun. Serial no. 44949. 12 gauge. 27 1/2-inch chopperlump barrels
with a matted concave game rib. Brush bright bar-action sidelock action.
Action and locks engraved with rose and scroll engraved and signed
by Master Engraver R Capece. Bold oak leaves on beaded fences.
Nine pin hand-detachable locks with gold plated
internals. Ejectors. Hinged front trigger. Automatic safety. Disc-set strikers.
Finely checkered straight grip stock of well-figured walnut. Checkered butt.
Vacant gold oval. Finely checkered splinter fore-end with Anson-style
release. Amilet leather trunk case with brass hardware and maker's leather
