Description:
Relic condition Remington New Model .44 caliber revolver with 8 inch barrel. This awesome relic revolver is loaded as found with 5 rounds in the chamber. Most likely barn find or early battlefield pick up as it was when loaded over 150 years ago. Metal is rusted though extremely stable with dark even patina throughout and light pitting. Loading assembly is frozen. Original grips have well worn wood to metal fit. You can see where they were cut for a lanyard. No markings are visible. Action cocks but does not lock up. Base pin missing. This is an awesome relic Civil War revolver which you rarely find in this condition loaded.
