Description:
This is a great representative sample of the Model 1876 rifle, with standard 28 inch round barrel, manufactured in 1884, etc. Rifle appears all original and is in working order. Bore is somewhat dark but lots of lands and grooves would probably make it a "shooter". Wood is very good with original finish turned dark. No finish on any of the metal just a deep brown heavy patination as shown in the photos. Front sight insert is missing. This rifle is priced very inexpensively for what it actually is - I don't think I have ever sold a functional Model 1876 this cheap! No ffl or c&r needed just proof of age.
