This is a Smith & Wesson New Model #3 Double Action Revolver. It is nickel plated and shows some flaking of finish. It is .44 Russian caliber. Has a 6" barrel with an excellent bore. Action is strong anmd indexes like it should. Has a little up and down looseness . Ejector sticks sometimes. All Numbers match the Serial #5665. Manfactured in 1880's. Has the S&W logo hard rubber grips, that are solid, showing wear. Trigger guard and hammer show some original blueing. Has lanyard ring. Buyer pays $35.00 shipping to lower 48 states.
