Description:
One of the top sideplated boxlock ejector guns offered by Francotte, the Eagle Grade. This particular gun was imported by the prestigous firm of Von Lengerke and Detmold. A top-rib extension with hidden crossbolt combine with side clips, to enture the barrels lock up tightly and ensure long life. The 45  Grade features highly carved fences and game-scene engraving surrounded by extensive scroll. On the bottom of the action is a gold-inlaid eagle - hence the name Eagle Grade. The engraving, lettering and the screw heads are all crisp, and the gun retains more than a little of its original color case hardening. The barrels, unfortunately, appear to have suffered from poor storage. There is some rust damage to the finish at the breech ends of the barrels. But with a little work, this one could be a showpiece once more.                     Firearms are subject to pending sales. • Replies to emails may take 24-72 hours to respond to (excluding weekends).• Although we strive for accuracy, we are not responsible for pictorial, editorial or typographical errors.  The pictures provided are the actual pictures of the gun that is for sale, not a stock photo!  PUT THE GUN ON YOUR CABELAS CLUB VISA AND EARN POINTS TOWARDS YOUR NEXT PURCHASE!   DON'T FORGET WE DO HAVE A LAYAWAY PROGRAM!
