Description:
This is a very nice Webley No. 2 "BRITISH BULL DOG" , as marked on top strap, along with :"P.WEBLEY & SON". It is marked on left side of frame with a "Flying Bomb/W.S", Also below that it is marked: "WEBLEY'S/No.2/.45CF". and the serial number #66486. Also, on front of frame is the number: "211" and what looks to be the letter "P". It has a 2.5" barrel with a very good bore. Approx. 25% of original blue finish remains, with balance being patina. 5 Shot Double action and Single action operation. Action is strong and works like it should. Has rod ejector that pulls out and swivels to right side for ejection. Hardwood finely checkered grips are solid and do show handling marks.Screw heads are very nice.
