This is a very nice Remington New Model Police Percussion Revolver. It has a 4.5" barrel with an excellent bore. All numbers match the serial #3554. Approx. 45% of original fire blue finish remains with balance a patina. Action is strong and it indexes and locks up correctley. Walnut grips are in excellent finish and condition and show only the lightest of fingernail marks. Screw heads are like new. It is marked on the top barrel flat: "PATENTED SEPT.14,1858/E.REMINGTON&SONS. ILION-NEW YORK.U.S.A./NEW-MODEL". Buyer pays Buyer pays $25.00 shipping to lower 48 states.
