Only 500 of these special sets were manufactured to commemorate 100 years of Browning Firearms. The coin finish receiver is engraved with fine open scroll and deep shaded acanthus scroll which surrounds a gold inlaid bull elk on the left side, gold inlaid flushing quail on the right side and a bust of John Browning on the bottom with the words "Browning Centennial 1878 to 1978".
Specially selected feather crotch American walnut is used for the straight grip stock and for both matching Schnabel forearms. An opaque semi-goss finish was used. Browning's usual extra fine checkering covers all of the grip surfaces. The rifle barrels have been fitted with quarter rib mounting claw scope bases. A Leupold 1.5-5 X Variable scope with duplex reticle comes with this set and, a set of perfectly fitted quick detachable claw mounts.
The set comes in a custom fitted Browning luggage case with soft faux fur lining. This item is essentially new and has seen very little handling and even less use. Call with any questions and see our other listings for ... "Only the best!"
