Description:
Serial #1576576, .45 ACP, 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1944 manufactured pistol that has an "HS" High Standard barrel and retains 85-90% of the original parkerized finish on the slide and frame. There is some fading at the muzzle and along the exposed edges and projections with some additional minor blue loss on the breech-end of the barrel and on the slide lever and safety. Some minor impact damage is present on the rear sight as well. The factory markings, "P" proofs, and "FJA" inspector stamp are still crisp and clear and the red-brown Keyes Fiber Co. checkered resin grips are in very good shape with some flattening of the points and minor surface scuffs and handling marks at the butt on both panels. A single "C-L" marked World War II era magazine is included. This is a very good-near fine example of a wartime Remington-Rand 'A1 and would make a nice addition to a collection.
