Description:
S# C 199356, 12 GA 2 3/4 inch, 26 inch cylinder choke barrel, bright excellent bore. This 1903 MFG gun features a round knob pistol grip stock, 18 groove round forearm, first style slide marking, and short 4 round magazine. The barrel is correct length but a post 1918 replacement notched for standard magazine with third type barrel marking. Gun retains 75% blue with receiver fading brown and areas of cleaned oxidation showing some pitting. Barrel has an area of cleaned oxidation on top right in front of receiver where the proof would have been. Stock is in excellent condition with dings and scratches from use, retaining over 90% finish. Buttplate has a chip out of the toe. A very good 97 with replaced barrel.
